As a concerned citizen I would like to register my protest at the way in which the 4x4 ban was imposed upon the Elephant Coast of KZN South Africa, causing great hardship and loss of income to many individuals and hereby give the beach access commission for St. Lucia Area a mandate to investigate the implications of the 4x4 ban on 

• the economy of the Elephant Coast

• the economy of the Greater St. Lucia wetlands park

• the social security of, and economic opportunities within the Elephant Coast and the Greater St. Lucia wetlands park and surrounding rural areas.

I further request that the findings of these investigations be made public, and that recommendations on possible solutions be presented to the following forums for discussion with interested and affected parties

•  Mtubatuba Municipality IDP (integrated development plan)

• Greater St. Lucia wetlands park IMP (Integrated Management Plan)

• KZN Tourism

• The minister of Environmental Affairs and tourism

• Any other body or organization which may have an influence on the tourism aspects of the Elephant Coast and the Greater St. Lucia wetlands park.
