Mtubatuba is the gateway to the Isimangaliso wetlands park and the economic
center of Umkhanyakude, though other small towns such as Hluhluwe, and Mkhuze
are also growing to take their rightful places in the tourism industry of
Umkhanyakude District Municipality.
