Umkhanyakude district Municipality is one of the least developed municipalities within South Africa. The sporting infrastructure such as sport stadiums and associated buildings is practically non existent and we do not have a single sports stadium that could accommodated more than 5 000 persons.
Info4u and our associates will be working on this in the future to try and get these sporting facilities established and functional within Umkhanyakude
This will start by promoting the various sporting codes and ensuring that they have a following within Umkhanyakude district Municipality.
To do this we will need to have strong sporting associations and our local sports clubs will need to play in some high level leagues. UVA or Umkhanyakude Volleyball Association is b busy getting the Volleyball sector in order and has already formed a core group which will act as a temporary steering committee for UVA.
