Mtubatuba has a vibrant fresh fruit and veg market area which is well supported by the local population. The selection of veggies is somewhat limited as the indigenous peoples tend to pick much of their herbs and vegeatbles them selves from the forest, or bushlands surrounding their homes. Potatoes, cabages, onions and tomatoes however seem to make the bulk of vegies sold here. Fruit in season is often on sale directly from large scale farmers at very competive prices with in the town, in the picture above the oranges have come from the citrus farms near Eshowe.
